Senior Digital Literacy and Support Program

Strong nation is built on its strong communities. Our strong nation has changed in the way people communicate and share information effectively and faster. This new way of communication started no more than 25 years ago, and it is constantly changing.  Our seniors, who did not grow up with this new technology, are feeling left behind.  We believe that no one should be left behind including seniors, and the Senior Digital Skills Program can be the solution.

As we get older it is harder to learn and even more difficult to adapt new ways of communication.  Lots of our seniors are feeling they are too far behind to learn these new skills. The Senior Digital Skills Program is here to break the barrier and close this gap. Confidence leads to a better, happier, and active life.  Every individual has a domino effect in the community they live in.  Nova Active Life volunteers will get connected and build bond with the seniors in the same community to run the Senior Digital Skills Program.  This program can assist seniors to learn the necessary skill to navigate computer, web, and smart phone. By way of learning digital skills families and friends get connected easier as well as getting information/knowledge from the web.
